Little's research has resulted to date in over 89 peer reviewed publications 3 book chapters 4 US patents, 3 US patents pending and the founding of two spin-out companies located in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT in 2005, with his thesis winning the American Association for Advancement of Science's Excellence in Research Award. Steven Little is a Distinguished Professor and the William Kepler Whiteford Endowed Professor of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Immunology, Ophthalmology and the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.
